AFL CV ACADEMY

The AFL Central Victoria Football Academy is a 10-12 week development program for players and coaches, which runs from March through to June each year. 

Mid week trainings is the main focus of the program with the opportunity for inter-league and region matches. 

 

Each affiliated club, within the region, is able to nominate players into the Academy for the following age groups: 

U12 Boys, U13 Boys, U14 Girls, U14 Boys, U15 Boys, U16 Girls, U16 Boys and U18 Girls. 

 

From the nominations, trials will take place in February / March where 30 players will be selected into each age group. 

The AFLCV Academy takes place at the Epsom / Huntly Recreation Reserve and operates from 4.45-6.15pm on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Selected players receive apparel (playing jumper, warm up top, hoodie, shorts and socks), development sessions and opportunity to compete in the inter-league games.
